  1. I was wondering if you could help me out a little regarding the captain America disc launching shield. I'm not trying to mod it, but I am trying to make it work correctly for my son, right now pulling the trigger only opens the hatch door but nothing comes out. I read that adjusting a spring on the inside would help. I took it apart and now i cant get one of the springs back into place. It's the one on the upper left used to open the hatch, can't figure out how to position it! Any help would be great, you can reach me at imfullofjolt@yahoo.com thanks!

  3. Hi Buffdaddy! Thanks for sharing your Nerfing/modding experiences with the NIC. You've got good stuff. I particularly appreciate the openness to off-brand items, too. Anyways, I notice you do much with round brass/copper tubing. I'm trying to develop a clip-fed breech system BBB for a friend who wants to get into Nerf a bit more. My issue is trying to find a good source for brass tubing without getting gouged or ending up with 200' of round brass tubing. 1) Assuming you use smaller diameter than 1/2", where do you find your tubing and, 2) what ballpark $$ is a decent price? Any help would be greatly appreciated. My email is hereigoagain04(at)yahoo(dot)com.

  4. Im having a problem with my huntsman 50 from Lanard, is there any way you could help by giving me an internals shot of yours? I know how it all fits together except for one small metal piece that appears to have something to do with the trigger mechanism

  12. I'm new to the whole nerf modding scene, and I was wondering if there is a product that can i use to create a custom shell, like moldable plastic.

  13. Have you ever worked with the Zuru X-Shot Crossbow? If so, do you know any way of fixing the jamming issue it has? The issue I'm referring to is the one where the piece that pulls the darts out of the magazine instead pushes the darts back, bends them and damages them.

I'm considering trying different types of darts instead, preferrably more durable ones. What are the most durable that you know of that are around 2.68" in length? The most durable i've heard of are the Boomco Smart Stick darts, but they are .40" diameter and 2.85" length. Do they come in any different lengths? The main issue most ppl have is with the diameter, but my problem is more with the length. I might be able to make it work fine with .40" diameter (because it's a crossbow and not air/flywheel powered), but my magazine doesn't fit nerf elites. I would cut them down, except the venue I plan to use them at doesn't allow modifications to ammunition.

  14. Hey Buffdaddy, I would love to ask some questions about your centurion plunger tube. I am working on making my centurion a good shooting gun and well your plunger tube seems to be a step in the right direction. Please contact me at connernmars@gmail.com.
