Centurion Mods! WHAT SORCERY IS THIS????

One of the reasons we dislike the Centurion (and there are many) is because it has a reverse plunger. A really BAD reverse plunger, at that. With so many vent holes bleeding air out of the large pressure chamber, that volume or air is being used extremely inefficiently.

The solution? Replace the plunger tube!

Ooooooooh! Shiny!

That tube is a 12" section of 1 1/2" PVC Solvent-Weld Extension Tube, for use in the plumbing under your sink. Remember that for future reference in your projects - aside from the bell/coupling end (which can also fit in 1 1/4" SCH40 PVC fittings), the dimensions are identical to that of the polycarbonate tubing used in +bows.

Here's the fit inside the shell!

Purely by accident, it was the right length without really measuring my cuts.

I'll have instructions up soon for building this. The blaster works, so that's a victory in itself. I will test ranges soon, then post a write-up!

Finally, I thought I'd highlight another recent mod. Rob over at Southern Brisbane Nerf Club has been working on converting a Nerf Centurion into a direct plunger blaster, with a discussion occurring in this Reddit thread.

As you can see, Rob put some extensive work into converting this blaster. So take a peek!

    1. ya, i got from my friend and i opened it, threw away pretty much everything and carved out the ribs of the shell and other stuff, then i slap in a titan air tank, with its pump, and gave it like a 3 foot 1/2" pvc barrel.
